Japanese developer Piisu Inc. has announced a December release date for its colourful incremental fishing game, alongside a new trailer and a free playable demo.
Ever fancied catching every fish in the sea? That’s exactly the challenge awaiting players in Fish Them All!, an upcoming pixel-art fishing game with one rather ambitious objective: catch an astonishing 100 million fish.
Developed by Japanese indie studio Piisu Inc., the game is scheduled to launch on Steam on 8 December 2026, combining simple fishing mechanics with an increasingly ridiculous progression system.
Starting with a small boat and a single fishing hook, players will gradually build an automated fishing operation capable of collecting thousands of fish in seconds.
Despite its enormous target, the developer estimates that the entire experience can be completed in approximately four to five hours.
From One Fish to Thousands
Fish Them All! follows a simple gameplay loop: catch fish, earn money, purchase upgrades and return to the water with better equipment.
Players control a small fishing boat, dropping their hook into the sea to collect as many fish as possible during short fishing sessions lasting approximately 60 seconds.
Every successful trip earns money that can be invested into an expanding skill tree.
Early upgrades improve movement speed, increase the size of the fishing hook and allow players to collect more fish simultaneously.
What begins as a slow process of catching individual fish gradually transforms into something much bigger.
With enough upgrades, players can move from collecting a handful of fish to hauling in hundreds or even thousands during a single trip.

Divers, Drones and UFOs Join the Fishing Operation
As players progress, Fish Them All! introduces increasingly unusual ways to reach its enormous target.
The first major additions include divers who automatically collect fish, reducing the need to catch everything manually.
Later upgrades unlock high-speed drones capable of moving around the water and gathering additional catches.
Eventually, players can even recruit UFOs that use powerful beams to scoop up entire groups of fish.
There’s also an Explosion ability, which allows players to clear large schools of fish with the press of a button.
Combining these abilities creates opportunities for enormous catches, transforming the initially peaceful fishing experience into a screen-filling spectacle.
Another interesting addition is Ghost Cast, an upgrade that allows players to fish alongside recordings of their previous attempts.
Ghostly versions of the player’s boat and fishing hook repeat earlier movements, creating additional opportunities to collect fish while the current run continues.

A Pixel-Art Ocean Full of Unusual Creatures
Not every creature in Fish Them All! behaves like an ordinary fish.
As players unlock additional species, the underwater environment becomes increasingly varied.
Some creatures introduce their own unusual behaviour, including teleporting sea urchins, squid capable of sudden bursts of speed and enormous ocean sunfish drifting through the water.
These additions create new challenges as players attempt to maximise their catches.
The game also tracks overall progress towards its enormous objective, displaying the number of fish remaining after each session.
Watching that number gradually fall from 100 million towards zero is intended to provide the satisfaction at the heart of its incremental progression system.
Free Demo Available Ahead of December Launch
Players interested in trying Fish Them All! don’t need to wait until December.
A free demo is available now on Steam, offering approximately 30–40 minutes of gameplay from the beginning of the full experience.
The demo includes several early upgrades, allowing players to unlock automatic divers and experiment with the Explosion ability.
Piisu Inc. has also released a new release date trailer, showcasing the game’s progression from modest fishing trips to enormous catches involving drones and UFOs.
When Does Fish Them All! Release?
Fish Them All! is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, 8 December 2026, according to the developer’s announcement, for Windows and macOS through Steam.
The game also supports Steam Deck and will offer 14 languages, including English, Japanese, French, German and Spanish.
The announced price is $5.99, with regional pricing varying.
Players can wishlist Fish Them All! and download the free demo on Steam ahead of release.
With its colourful pixel-art presentation, increasingly absurd fishing equipment and a surprisingly achievable 100-million-fish objective, Fish Them All! could appeal to players who enjoy short, satisfying incremental games without committing to dozens of hours of progression.
After all, 100 million fish might sound impossible, but a few UFOs should make things considerably easier.
