Call of Duty: Mobile is celebrating seven years with a major Battle Royale update, bringing the legendary Verdansk map to mobile devices alongside fresh gameplay mechanics, anniversary rewards and new seasonal content.
Verdansk is officially coming to Call of Duty: Mobile, with Activision confirming that the iconic Battle Royale map will arrive as part of Season 10 – 7th Anniversary, launching on 12 November 2026 in the UK.
The anniversary update promises one of the game’s biggest changes to Battle Royale, introducing redesigned movement mechanics, new equipment systems, the return of the Gulag and an extensive selection of rewards.
Players can also look forward to a brand-new Battle Pass, the Signal 50 sniper rifle, a limited-time narrative experience and a collaboration with Ford Racing.
Verdansk Makes Its Mobile Debut
One of the most recognisable locations in Call of Duty: Warzone history is finally heading to mobile.
Verdansk arrives with more than 15 major points of interest, including fan-favourite locations such as Superstore, Airport, Downtown, Stadium, Dam and Prison.
Each location offers different opportunities for combat, whether players prefer long-range engagements, close-quarters firefights or carefully planned ambushes.
The map will also feature the return of the Gulag, giving eliminated players a chance to fight their way back into a match.
After their first elimination, players will enter a one-on-one battle for redeployment. Winning means returning to Verdansk, while losing leaves players relying on teammates to purchase their return through a Buy Station.
Battle Royale Gets a Major Gameplay Overhaul
Verdansk isn’t the only significant addition arriving in Season 10.
Activision is introducing sweeping changes to the Battle Royale experience, with improvements to movement, animations and several gameplay systems.
Players will be able to deploy parachutes during matches on Verdansk instead of using wingsuits, while a new mechanic allows teammates to drag downed players to safety while reviving them.
Other additions include updated airborne controls, the ability to force open doors while sprinting and an overhauled interface.
Battle Royale Scorestreaks are also being reworked into Field Assets, which can be equipped through Loadouts or purchased at Buy Stations.
Meanwhile, a revised Perk system will introduce additional ways to customise a player’s approach to combat.
Explore Verdansk with Create Your Truth
Players looking to familiarise themselves with the new map can jump into Create Your Truth, a narrative-driven limited-time mode.
Unlike traditional Battle Royale, this playlist features unlimited respawns, allowing players to explore Verdansk without the usual pressure of permanent elimination.
Participants will follow objectives, uncover intelligence and explore key locations while learning more about the map.
Completing the experience will unlock additional cosmetic rewards.
Verdansk is also joining DMZ: Recon, introducing the dangerous Chemist boss and a new Prison Highlight Contract.
The Chemist brings powerful weapons and heavily armed guards, while the Prison contract challenges squads to escape after surrendering their equipment.
New Signal 50 Sniper Rifle and Anniversary Battle Pass
Season 10 introduces the Signal 50, a fast-firing sniper rifle designed for long-range encounters.
The weapon will be available through the free tiers of the anniversary Battle Pass, alongside other rewards.
Players who purchase the premium Battle Pass will gain access to additional Operator Skins, weapon blueprints and cosmetic items.
Two new Mythic Drops are also planned, featuring:
- Alias – Shattered Effigy: A new Mythic Operator Skin.
- Signal 50 – Exobotanica: A Mythic weapon blueprint featuring a futuristic botanical design.
Ford Racing Joins the Celebration
One of Season 10’s more unexpected additions comes through a partnership with Ford Racing.
The collaboration introduces the Ford Mustang GTD and Ford F-150 Raptor into the game, alongside two themed Lucky Draws.
A separate Ford Racing event will begin approximately one week after the season launches, offering rewards for completing activities such as playing matches, logging in and earning eliminations.
More than 20 rewards will be available, including the Urban Tracker – Pit Crew Operator Skin, Rallycar – Sports Mode Vehicle Skin and DR-H – Command Console weapon blueprint.
Anniversary Events Bring More Free Rewards
To celebrate the game’s seventh anniversary, Activision is introducing a series of additional events, including Operation: Verdansk Convergence.
Players can align themselves with one of three factions: Makarov, Task Force 141 or the Observers.
Completing faction objectives will unlock rewards, including the Ghost – Desert Ghost Operator Skin and other exclusive items.
Players will also be able to complete objectives for multiple factions, providing additional opportunities to collect rewards throughout the celebration.
