Stack & Sus Brings Burger-Building Chaos and Betrayal to Steam on 10 November

Build towering burgers, uncover hidden spies and try not to ruin friendships in this quirky new social deduction party game from developer uracon.

Cooking with friends sounds like a recipe for a good time, but what happens when someone in the kitchen is secretly trying to ruin dinner?

Stack & Sus, an upcoming multiplayer party game from Japanese indie developer uracon, is bringing that exact scenario to PC when it launches on Steam on 10 November 2026.

Combining physics-based burger stacking with social deduction mechanics, the game challenges up to six players to work together in a chaotic kitchen. The catch? Not everyone wants the restaurant to succeed.

The release also marks the first publishing title from ENJOYN GAMES, a newly established indie gaming label from Japanese toy and entertainment company TAKARATOMY.

Build the Perfect Burger — If You Can

The concept behind Stack & Sus is straightforward: work together to prepare increasingly ridiculous burgers for hungry customers.

Players take on the roles of colourful chefs, with character choices including an angel, Satan and even a cow.

Each customer has their own unusual demands. Some want the tallest burger imaginable, while others request as many ingredients as possible. Certain customers also have ingredients they absolutely refuse to eat.

Meeting those demands isn’t quite as easy as putting a few toppings between two buns.

Ingredients must be positioned carefully before being dropped into place, creating towering structures that can collapse if something goes wrong.

From oversized burger patties to slippery banana peels, the selection of ingredients introduces plenty of opportunities for disaster.

Get everything balanced and successfully place the top bun, and the kitchen staff can celebrate a job well done.

But there’s a problem lurking behind the counter.

There’s a Spy in the Kitchen

While most players are trying to satisfy customers, others are secretly working against the team.

Hidden spies must sabotage the kitchen without revealing their identities, whether that’s by deliberately placing ingredients in awkward positions or misleading everyone about a customer’s order.

A burger collapsing might be an innocent mistake, but it could just as easily be the work of a saboteur.

That’s where the social deduction element comes into play.

Players must watch their fellow chefs carefully, question suspicious decisions and work out who can actually be trusted.

Voting also plays an important role. Players can choose their most trustworthy teammate to receive priority when placing ingredients.

If the spies successfully sabotage the kitchen, the remaining players face a final opportunity to identify the culprit.

It’s a combination of teamwork, deception and unpredictable physics that could make for some entertaining disagreements between friends.

Play Alone or Cause Chaos with Friends

Although multiplayer deception is the main attraction, Stack & Sus also includes a single-player Story Mode.

This follows Michael, a timid angel sent to investigate and sabotage a suspiciously successful burger restaurant.

The story provides an opportunity to learn the game’s mechanics while meeting its unusual cast of characters.

Once players are comfortable in the kitchen, they can move into multiplayer matches featuring up to six participants.

Several multiplayer modes are available, with individual sessions expected to last approximately 20–30 minutes.

With different customer orders, unpredictable ingredient behaviour and the constant possibility of betrayal, each match promises a different kind of kitchen disaster.

TAKARATOMY Launches New Indie Publishing Label

Stack & Sus is also an important release for its publisher.

Japanese entertainment company TAKARATOMY, known for brands including Beyblade, TOMICA and Transformers toys, has officially introduced ENJOYN GAMES, a publishing label dedicated to independent video games.

The new label aims to support creative developers and bring distinctive gaming experiences to a wider audience.

Stack & Sus leads its initial publishing line-up, which also includes the cooperative stealth game Little Cheese Works and the competitive drawing game Sloppy Forgeries.

For uracon, the partnership provides an opportunity to expand the reach of its unusual cooking and deception game.

When Does Stack & Sus Release?

Stack & Sus launches on Tuesday, 10 November 2026, for Windows PC via Steam.

The game supports English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean.

Players can already add Stack & Sus to their Steam wishlist, with a demo also listed on its Steam store page.

With its combination of competitive burger stacking, secret sabotage and light-hearted multiplayer mayhem, Stack & Sus looks like one to watch for anyone who enjoys party games where trusting your friends is half the challenge.
